I don't know for sure how it works but it is mind control. This is not religion but it shows something about compartmentalization. In Texas many years ago a neighbor girl had come over to play with my daughter. She lived with her grandparents and later they came by to get her. The girl was about 13. The grandparents and I were sitting down talking when grandpa told me how horrible the girl's mother was. I told him that was hard to believe. He then asked to show me something, and he called the granddaughter over and said for her to sit on his lap. Then he asked her to tell him about her mother. As if hypnotized the the girl started out "eF"ing bitch this and "eF"ing bitch that." It was like a speech drilled into her from early childhood. I could hardly believe it. Grandpa then asked her to stop and he let her get off his lap. I'm sure this will all come back to bite him in the ass later, but a similar thing goes on with religion from very early childhood. Technical engineers in the fundy field even think the Grand Canyon is proof of a worldwide flood. Who knows? What I am seeing the most is Facebook itself posting too many contradictory things while trying to continue getting our information. For me and my contacts on the site it has limited our actions rather than made them better. One ignorant person I know claims that the Clinton's and Obama's are all going to be locked up in prison just because Donnie wants it that way. He is so stupid that he even told me personally that he will be around to say "I told you so" when it happens. Maybe this man needs to learn how to read. Maybe Facebook needs to learn what to post in order to attract you. I'm not wanting them to turn into Alex Jones or other "fake news." I agree with you 100%. In the bible we must consider that Jesus was said to be** "the firstfruits of the dead.**" How can this be when Jesus himself raised others from the dead and the Old Testament has other incidents of people raised from death before Jesus? My first assumption is that people in that day did not have the biblical records that we have today.** Either this is true or they all were lying.** Then apologists come to the rescue with ideas that Jesus had a permanent resurrection and all the others were just temporary. They go in every direction with this. OK, the zombies who came out of the tombs at the crucifixion were only to scare people and they had to die again. Maybe god was just trying out the resurrection possibilities. Fine tuning them for later when ignorant people afraid to die really need them. Belief in a big book put together in the manner of the bible is impossible. The book itself disproves a god. I rest my case.

I can identify with this. I do not understand the Christian who says they could not make it through a single day without Jesus. What did they do before conversion? What is it that Jesus gives them now? I cannot answer this. On the other hand my confused life has always worked out for the better. In times good and bad it was always like I had a guardian of some sort dealing with the issues and helping determine a proper outcome. Today I pass this off to thought and the workings of logic. You are either logical or you are not. I do not read about it or study it, and there is no "logic school." I left the bonds of religion many years ago and did not live up to the idea of my "calling." My transition was long, slow and painful, but once I realized I was atheist and knew what that meant, I felt enlightened. **My message to the world is that gods are imaginary**, but those who have known me forever and know my past still think that "god might save me." If you believe in gods you are wanting to believe that we can know everything in our past and all of our destiny simply by believing a big book. How is that possible? I now challenge you to study this book, how it was put together and when it was put together, what was omitted and why, and you will find that the book was many smaller books that can do no more than contradict each other. The early church fathers were not contemporaries of Jesus and neither was Josephus. Paul is credited with writing almost half of the New Testament and he never met Jesus. This tells me a lot about Christianity and in no way does it support it.

I've known for a while now that "love is a decision." At my age today I do not want to run off with you or pack up and move to another area. The physical feelings you had in the teens or twenties do not last forever. It's true that my last wife just turned 40 and that I was also once married to an older woman. None of it means I'm making any snap decisions on love today. I probably will not go visit you and I'm not going to send you any money. :)

The best proof against the bible is the bible itself. You have to understand how, when, and why it came together as the big book it is and this includes the many books that were rejected. Many people even today do not accept Revelation. All of the early "church fathers" listed as contemporaries of Jesus really were not. The book is a sham that can only contradict itself when you see how it came into being.

Is Trump's life over? (I wish) He has been accused numerous times by women and he's still here. In fact, very few accusations against him have been dealt with. Trump's words are so effective that parents now think their son's run a great risk of having their lives ruined by women. Nobody was afraid for their daughters at all. How does this happen?
