I had control of his money and his life insurance through my oldest daughter, the acting POA. Medicaid helped me with some of this and they even paid for his nursing home. Medicaid got the bulk of dad's social security and pension. You just have to know how these systems work to be able to use them and benefit from them.

I stand with the Ukrainians and all free people of our world. That does not mean American should go to war over this. Media there is very silent on this issue. Inside the Ukraine we are told that Putin's forces are advancing on the capital. The Ukrainian president is telling everyone he stands with his people. 100,000 or more have left for Poland and other areas. Video shows that the streets themselves either has lots of confused people or in some areas very little people. Video shows apartments and other building partially destroyed but Putin claims he is not targeting civilians. Putin claims his actions are against a traitorist faction in the Donbass area only. They seem to be so much up to no good that the Army had to be called in. He said a similar thing in 2014 but was not believed. My opinion is that Putin wants to take back all of the old Russian empire and stop Democracy from spreading. Most of the world shares that idea. At present between 198 and 250 locals have been killed in the capital. Video shows that 200 miles away nothing is much happening. I have the privilege of watching news and video from all over the world. Not everyone has that. Sean Penn has announced that he is going to the Ukraine to make a documentary. His choice. I would stay away. He may not come back as this escalates. All sorts of sanctions are being applied to Putin and the Russian oligarchs. None of this looks good because we might soon find ourselves unable to get into our bank accounts. Russia will fight back in many cyber attacks. This can lead to food shortages along with higher gas and oil prices. Unless this ends quickly we are all in for a horrible ride. The Lincoln Project posted a very good video on it in the Russian language. It is called "OLd Man" and it asks outright what the Russian people will think when their young men return in body bags all to please Putin the older man. Many think that the civil trial has to be second but this is not so. When my grandson was murdered my family was told to pursue this as a civil case first simply because people refused to prosecute. I do not know if there is a solution but I find both sides calling the other one names that seem to fit the one doing the talking. I find it strange the GOP activists now claim that all these Dems are going down and going to prison. They want you to send them money to get this all rolling. That sounds like Trump and friends in all of this "Trump Won" nonsense. How do you fix stupid? Both sides have it now. I'm a Progressive that was once a Republican. Listening at times to Dan Bongino on talk radio, I caught him talking of diaper wearing and Dems who wear diapers and have "poopy drawers." I knew right away why he was never elected to office. Then he makes some bad remarks on Canada, Trudeau, and how some people think truck drivers are "Nazis or Fascists." I thought they were simply people involved in commerce and getting the goods delivered to us. Then these people (who are not racist in any way) harp about BLM and all their "crimes" and tell you Antifa is a group equally as bad. To my knowledge Antifa is not what the right is saying it is. Just recently someone again asked me how are we going to pay for all this infrastucture and and healthcare for all that so many are wanting. The answer is very simple. Taxation and a few adjustments seems to work fine in other countries. America is not moving forward in a positive way and we will never be the same again. Any way you look at it this is all about money.

Reasons why might be that one grandson was murdered and they want to see him again. I even have a granddaughter that believes angels exist and they have wings like a bird. I take daily vitamins that simply pass through my system. I take 3 realtime meds and maybe 12 or more daily vitamins. Part of my reasoning for this is because I eat what I want to eat. This means I do not eat right. Also know that food is not grown or processed properly today.
