Biden had not stopped drilling on federal land, in fact, the oil companies had 20.000 unused leases already for federal land and not one of them was blocked. What he had done is to stop issuing NEW leases for drilling on federal land. That was as of April 2022. Then he did a partial u-turn and started issuing leases but with increased royalties for the taxpayer.* Even so, can you please explain to this idiot why future leases that might take years to come on stream would have such a significant impact on current prices? Could it be that the oil companies are making a bundle by price gouging and the whole federal lease thing is a distraction?

The graph at the top shows an average of 22% increase as opposed to the USA's 9.9% However, this does back up my assertion that had Trump not lost, then you would still have high gas and food prices but it would be Antifas fault.

Even with all the best planning and political will you can only work with what you've got. Also, as I think I may have stated before, without Hitler invading Poland, Churchill would have been just a footnote in history. The fact is that it did happen and Trump was not only found to be extremely deficient but actively harmful. Even at the end of his term, he kept quiet about being personally vaccinated.
As to him not achieving much. He did not have a lot of policies, to begin with. A lot of general platitudes like "Draining the swamp" (ironic as many think his administration has been the most corrupt since Harding). As for one term, more like 1/2 a term if you factor in his work hours and golf trips. The things he did enact were low hanging fruit like tax cuts for the mega-rich. Due to the payola nature of American politics, this passed like prunes on all-bran. But his wall, for which he had a mandate did not. Why? well, there ain't no money in that for big corps, that's why.
I agree that Biden is not ideal. Yes, he is getting on a bit and not the man he was. As for the Manchurian candidate? I think that might apply more to Trump and the pee-pee tape than Biden. Certainly, his record on Russia backs that up. That fact is that Biden is not Trump and that was all he needed. Just like Carter was not Nixon or the GOP that put him there. In that respect, you cannot call him out for choosing a strong team of advisers to help him. Moreover, it is totally absurd to call him in any way progressive. There is a raft of popular bills that the Dems could and should enact but he refuses to end the filibuster. These include a $15 min wage and universal health care. Which if you fact-check, you will find that the vast majority of Americans want. Again we see the hand of big money in US legislation.

Imagine you are watching a debate between a fundamentalist Christian and nearly anyone off this site. Let's call them C and Ag respectively. C is arguing that the earth is only 6,500 years old and god made it all. Ag has fossil records, carbon dating, all of the science etc. But C always comes back with "The bible says". The same book that has talking snakes etc...
Now on one hand you have a man of dubious character, previous grift (Trump University) and proven serial liar. On the other the facts:
Firstly you have the fact that Trump was a reality-TV star. Who does those things? Do really successful people at the top of their game do it? No. The real deal guys are too busy doing it to have cameras around them 24/7. So you get Ozzy Osborne, not Kieth Richards and you don't get Branson or Bezos you get Trump or Arnie.
Trump did not win the popular vote in 2016 against the worst candidate since McGovern.
Trump lost the house in 2018.
Trump did have a successful economy but on the back of sound financial programmes by Obama and at the cost of vastly increasing the nat. debt.
Trump lost the election to Biden (Marginally better than Hillary but not by much).
Trump lost the senate.
Jan 6th!!!
Under his watch, the USA experienced huge civil unrest from both sides. The buck stops with him, especially when he sought to fan the flames.
His management of the pandemic has been abysmal. He turned public health issues into political footballs and the USA lost lives (and is still losing them).
He has and still is, destroying faith in American democracy. At no time since the civil war has America been in so much turmoil. As the captain of that ship, the responsibility lies solely with him.
Now should you wish to respond to these facts? I would ask you to counter them with facts also, not the equivalent of "The bible says"
