I'm a fan. I've been watching the snippets on youtube. I'm not sure it's worth watching the whole thing. It's a bit painful to watch Patrick Stewart, but we're all getting older. Also, the story skips around so badly, it's hard to be invested. And, yes, I totally resent all these paywalls. The one thing I especially miss from the original series is the complete lack of serious music. I guess the level of action doesn't allow for moments of suspense.
