@Pralina1 Go to a feed store, they have weed killers for woody stemmed weeds. The stuff at your normal stores normally isn't strong enough. Mix at about double the recommended strength and apply liberally when you are going to have 3-4 days of dry weather. I finally knocked it out in my neighbors yard with her permission since she was using the regular stuff and it kept coming back and would creep into my yard.

They are a desert lizard that has adapted to city life. The feral cats take a toll on them every summer, but I still keep a healthy population. This one has gotten over it's human fear pretty much as long as i don't move too fast.

@Moravian He was charged by the church elders for blasphemy and arrested by the Roman soldiers as was the custom for law enforcement in the colonies. The other charges came after the elders could not find a way to get rid of him within their legal structure. As far as knowing who he was imagine not having TV or media of any type, 3 men come to your town all claim to being King Charles, all have the trappings of office, you pick the right one. The best way is if there is someone that you know that knows him. Easy peasy.

The Romans paid little attention to the day to goings on in their colonies as long as taxes were paid and there was no sign of rebellion. Local religious customs and practices were of little concern to them. Recognition depended on someone actually knowing the person.
