@FrayedBear I would never try to guess why one member has blocked another, I lie, I might try and guess, but I wouldn't put it out there for everyone to read. I know that I am blocked by a couple of people that I have never had a conversation with. One luckly another group member interceded and found out that they had no idea why it had happened, once it was cleared up, we had a whole new group of problems. Site glitch I supposed. I know that with my sense of humor and flipantness, I have probably scared a few off, but if that is all it took to block me, then we probably never would have gotten very far anyhow. I am much of a live and let live kind of person.

What makes me uncomfortable is endless messaging. It is one step above smoke signals. It is such an impersonal form of communication. What makes me comfortable is talking on the phone.

@DevraisA1 My son gave me a rule that he follows, if it is going to take more than 3 messages to get your point across, pick up the phone. I hate messaging and appreciate the freedom it gives, but I would far rather talk to a person than just message. I know that women have other concerns other than just ease of communication, but no relationship will really start to bloom until you have had some type of peronal real time exchange.

@Pralina1 His acting is an aquired taste, and I can say that I've aquired it. I've always compained about going to musicals, then once i go I enjoy them so much i want to go again. It goes back to high school, I dated a girl who's father believed in supporting the arts as long as he didn't have to actually go to the performances. The main drawback was having to get "dressed", then the drive into the city, parking and driving home, which left almost no time for anything else.
