the current consensus is that the omicron variant is at least as communicble as measles if not more. Measles is the most communicble virus currently known. This was a very quick hit, that went down fast, then began a rapid recovery. Much better than the 2-3 weeks with my first case. The vaxes and masks helped, but they couldn't prevent an infection.

Yes the first infection was prior to the vaccines being avaiable. I haven't had the nausea or running from the other end either this time. Yes, it's worse than the flu or a bad cold, but if taking the shots make it that much easier, I'll take them every six months if I have to.
