@puff Sorry I got the name mixed up... I don't recall the brother's name and I think he may have been disowned by the father who was like Eric's grandfather who was in his day a slave owner Jamaican plantation master. But correct me if I am making an error but I seem to remember Eric studied French under Aldous Huxley... Ahh a brain fart in my part it was Julian Huxley that was the geneticist and was extremely intelligent but went wrong veering into the dead end of eugenics. A waste of an otherwise brilliant mind. He meant well looking to improve the human condition at first but eugenics drew too much from racism treating it as evidence...

@puff If I recall I still have a first edition of his book on the subject in my personal library... Both men were far ahead of their time and had close relationships. Eric Blair was a Democratic Socialist and influenced my thinking in elementary school while I was reading his books... Richard Blair was also in the Indian services as an Opium agent as I recall and regulated the flow of that drug to China. If you will remember that is what caused the Opium wars.
