With the ten year agreement and the 50 Billion loan based off Frozen assets the tide is already turning in favor of Ukraine and he knows it which is why he made a cease fire offer but he was stupid and greedy even in that. He wants areas of Ukraine that he doesn't even control at this time to be surrendered to him. Ukraine will never agree to that and their counter offer will be that Russia pulls completely out of Ukraine and returns all Ukrainians including the stolen children returned and reparations as well. With the damage Russia has done this could amount to trillions of dollars in reparations... Which Russia will owe them after the war anyway along with as much more in the way of future damages. Russia can't afford this obviously because Putin has trashed his country's economic future for the next 20 years at least so my suggestion is to force Russia to cede not only what is left of military equipment including his nukes but to also cede the land all the way down to the Caspian Sea including everything south of Ukraine on the Sea of Azov and Black Sea. This would end the Russian threat to the entire region for 50 to 100 years. With Ukraine being a part of the EU and becoming a member of NATO that would be a good area to open military bases for all those countries as well as making Ukraine the largest supplier of grain in the world. It would also be helpful to Europe and the Baltic zone as well as helping repay their debts to those who aided them to supply natural gas at a discount.
