Historically Russia's armies have always been poorly equipped and staffed and since WW 1 it has been even worse because they never updated to the Prussian model this is why they went to the BTG which was an utter failure for them. I checked the ownership and I don't see it happening other than the name. Apparently there are legal issues involved and it is likely the domain name will cost about 10K after the site shuts down . After a few years if it isn't bought it will run $10 or less depending on where you buy it.

@Betty Been busy trying to catch up on chopping down the forest that has grown in my yard during the rains lately and taking estimates on upgrades to my home.. Things like a complete rewiring, new central air and heat (heat pump type) and solar. I found a 501c3 solar company that is manufacturing their own panels that are 24.66% more efficient that standard panels and does installations as well so I plan to use them for the solar... Still going to cost about 40,000 to 45,000 but I will make that up in savings on utilities along.

@Betty It is worth doing the upgrades even if I don't keep the house because it makes it far easier to sell and the price will be worth far more. Between rebates and tax credits as well as lower operating expenses plus the loan involved will increase my credit score. Just like any investment when you do it sensibly you are going to do well. On the 23rd I started an investment account and by closing on Friday it was already up over $75.00 I only invested $3000.00 I figure by the end of next month with the extra $500.00 I will add it could go as high as $300.00 in earnings.

Mine is one of those tough old houses. 😆

@Betty No gas bill, money back each month on the electric bill and no worrying about the structural integrity of the house? New fencing and an electric gate in back?... I figure the non-existent bills will almost pay for the upgrades and it will also raise the value of the home at least as much as I put into it...

@Betty That is the plan as well as exterior wall insulation and all electric meaning no gas. I will also have battery back up on the power and a heat pump heating and cooling system and a heat pump water heater so everything will be energy efficient. Everything will recirculate instead of produce except the stove and oven as well as a few other kitchen appliances. Batteries in the backup will be 12 volt 250amp hour iron phosphate batteries. They are rated for 50 years but some have been in place for 60 or 70 years and are still working.

I don't know of anyone who can throw a shoe 400 feet high do you?... Also they travel at a very high speed until they are dropping their load when doing package deliveries. The medical drones being used in Africa are traveling at 70 MPH so you are unlikely to hit them with a rifle and the altitude is far too high for a shotgun. I suggest you check them out before making statements like this because even if someone hits the package drop droid it is still connected to a cable and is able to adjust its position afterwards.

Not so reasonable for someone on an extremely low fixed income though. I remember being on SSI for a while and trying to live on 889.00 a month which included rent, utilities, food, etc.

@AnneWimsey Might be possible as well to start a fund for the truly needy people who can't afford the payments. Some people might be on SSI or Social Security and have an extremely low monthly disbursement. We would need them to confirm their status though...
